The Exhibition

What Makes Us Human?

Is it the size of our brains?
Is it what we can do?
Or how we think?

A chimp looking right.

Is it because we have friends?
Is it what we believe?
Are we made in the image of God?

A whale deep in the ocean.

We have a sense that we are unique.
We think we are different to other animals.
But are we?

A dog with its tongue out, looking at the viewer.

We differ in degree rather than in kind with the other creatures in the animal kingdom.

A rat looking left.

What does that mean for our relationship with them?
